The Pomegranate 1.0 is a complete breadboard-friendly board based on the ATMega328. It has the same functionality as the Arduino Duemilanove, but in a compact 44x52mm form-factor. Although it does not count with a USB port, it is possible to burn the Arduino bootloader into the microcontroller using the ISP6PIN, or a FTDI USB Adapter connected to the Serial pins.
After sketching and planning the schematics of the board using KiCad, the final PCB was manufactured by OSHPark using purple soldermask over bare copper (SMOBC) and an Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold (ENIG) finish.
