Policarpo Baquera (he/him)
is a technology producer, designer, and architect based in Brooklyn, New York. His work focuses on the intersection of design, technology, and spatial experience, leading multidisciplinary teams to create immersive environments and digital experience platforms for cultural and technology organizations.
Currently a Technical Producer at Charcoalblue supporting Google’s experiential programs, he leads the production of digital content systems and immersive storytelling environments deployed across multiple international locations. His role bridges designers, engineers, and technologists, translating design concepts into scalable experience systems and high-quality implementations. Policarpo holds a Master of Science in Computational Design from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master’s in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the University of São Paulo, and a Professional Certificate in Technical Project Management from MIT. Prior to joining Charcoalblue, he worked as a senior technical producer at SOSO and as an exhibition designer and project manager at EMPTY in Dubai. His work has been exhibited at the Oslo Architecture Triennale, Venice Architecture Biennale, CDAN–Fundación Beulas, and CentroCentro Madrid, and has received international recognition including the Young Talent Architecture Award from the Mies van der Rohe Foundation and the laCaixa Fellowship.
