1911.1 is an audiovisual projection mapping installation created in one of the CMU College of Fine Arts facade niches. The sound composition — algorithmically generated in TouchDesigner — triggers driftless deviations and speeds of travel across the sky map projected onto the semispherical surface of the niche's dome. The stereo sound system oriented towards the niche encourages the user to enter the space and be submerged in a sensorially loaded trip beyond the night sky.
